Presbyopia

The inability to see close objects.

Presbyopia is a vision condition in which the lens of your eye gradually loses its ability to focus, making it difficult to see near objects clearly. It is not a disease but a normal age-related process which affects everyone – even if you never had a vision problem before.

This may seem to occur suddenly but this process actually begins at adolescence. The symptoms usually become noticeable in the early to mid-40s and will increase until your 60s.
